Le lettre à partir d'ici: Compassion is the source of happiness in life….Without loving kindness and compassion, there is no peace or happiness in the family, the society, the country, or the world. Dear Sirs,
I'd like to share this ugly, horrible news. This is the pure evil that is overtaking "humanity and it's starts more and more from childhood!

"During recent months, children in the southern town of Rahat, near Be'er Sheva, have taken up a new and cruel pastime - burning dogs alive.
A resident of the predominantly Bedouin city, Salam al-Huzeil, recently filed a complained with the police over the new phenomenon, but said that they did not heed his complaint due to lack of proof.
Al-Huzeil decided to provide the police with proof, and videotaped some children burning a dog alive on his digital camera.
According to Al-Huzeil, the children habitually pour gasoline or another accelerant on the dog's fur and then set them on fire. He adds that the hobby does not end with burning the dogs' fur, but that in some cases the children tie the dogs up to a pole and cut off their legs, leaving them crippled.
'This is a terrible thing, a really ugly phenomenon,' said al-Huzeil. 'How can you set a dog on fire while it's still alive? These children's behavior is really disgusting. It cannot be that everyone turns a blind eye and no one does anything about it.'
Al-Huzeil added that he complained with the Rahat police, but that so far nothing has been done to stop the phenomenon."
Another testimony :
"Several months ago a dearly departed animal welfare warrior Dan was hot on the trail of children burning a little dog alive on video.
He died before we could verify the location and perpetrators.
Now this story has surfaced, and they may be related.
Children are burning dogs and cutting their limbs off ALIVE in Rahat, a Bedouin enclave of Southern Israel.
The man who reported the crimes was not taken seriously by the police, so he videotaped it, but the police have still done NOTHING. "
This kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable.
I am writing today to encourage you to pursue every route investigating this hideous crime in order to capture and effectively prosecute the perpetrators who set the dogs on fire and
cut off their legs, causing unimaginable agony and fear.
When I try to imagine what possible motive animal abusers entertain for subjecting their animal victims to such malicious, heinous acts of brutality, I fail, but I am thankful for a lack of cognitive understanding and rationalization.
To voluntarily engage in such malicious behaviour suggests sadistic tendencies, and this person’s actions, causing unmitigated pain and suffering, demonstrates an incontrovertible lack of morality regarding other living beings and a gross disrespect for the law.
In fact, a person who shows such a remarkable lack of compassion towards non-human animals has the ability to show such indifference towards human animals.
This link between animal and human abuse has been established, and if society excuses this person's criminal behaviour, or agrees to a lesser punishment, we only harm ourselves by unjustly nullifying cruelty as acceptable behaviour.
Please respect the victims by investigating the crimes and penalizing the guilty; doing so will demonstrate your commitment to justice, responsibility, and integrity, attributes unquestionably necessary in a law enforcement setting:
rejecting cruelty by maintaining an unyielding position towards it would be a model for all community members and would serve to characterize this type of behaviour as both impermissible and punishable.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.
